The Red Indian

This was another Art Class Project, (see here) where Beryl took another of my Mother's portraits in black and white and painted it in colour. Of course she had no idea what the true colours were. The original photograph dates from the 1920s, when he visited Croydon. In those days it was not politically incorrect to refer to Red Indians and to portray them as such.
