The English Lady

Beryl and I had a number of cruises on the Rhine and Moselle. The first of these was on the Rhine, on a ship called The English Lady and which was operated by a British company, and then we went on a Rhine/Moselle cruise on her the following year, but then she ceased to operate on the Rhine and Moselle, so all our later Rhine and Moselle cruises were on other ships.

Beryl always took a camera and a sketch pad with her on holiday, and then painted from photographs or sketches. Because many of the photographs she took on holiday were subjects for painting, sometimes if other people looked at our holiday photographs they would wonder whether we had been on the same holiday.

This is The English Lady on the River Moselle.
